How to get to Lefkada? The island is located near the west coast of Greece, south of Corfu and north of Kefalonia. The special thing about Lefkada, is that you can reach the island not only by boat or ferry, but also by plane, car and bus. This is because Lefkada is connected to the mainland by a pontoon bridge. It is also possible to fly to Athens (ATH) or Thessaloniki (SKG) and drive to Sivota from there. From Athens it takes 5 hours by car (420 km) and from Thessaloniki it takes about 5.5 hours (453 km) to arrive at Alfresco Villas.

From the Italian ports of Venice, Ancona, Bari and Brindisi, ferries leave almost daily to Igoumenitsa and Patras. From Igoumenitsa it is about 2 hours and 20 minutes by car (140 km) and from Patras it is 3 hours (200 km) to arrive at Alfresco Villas.

If you fly to Athens, you can travel to Lefkada City by intercity bus. From Athens there is a bus to Lefkada City three times a day. For more information, visit the website of Ktel-Lefkadas.
